Kids Clock Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Kids Clock is an Android routine and clock app published under the developer name Technical Handyman. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Information kept on your device
Kids Clock saves your routine and settings in the app's local storage. These include activity names, meal and snack times, selected weekdays, routine order, temporary changes for a particular day, sleep settings, the current manual sleep session and the optional Exit maths check setting. Activity names contain the text a grown-up chooses to enter.
The app reads your device's date, time, time zone and time-format preferences to display the clock and calculate the routine. It does not request your location. The illustrated scenes and characters are included in the app.
Information sent by the app
Kids Clock does not require an account or an internet connection. It does not send your routine, settings or usage information to Technical Handyman. The app does not contain advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not request access to your contacts, camera or microphone.
Backups you choose to share
A grown-up can choose Share backup in the grown-up controls. This creates a .kidsclock file and opens Android's share menu. The file includes regular activity names, times and weekdays, routine order, sleep settings and the Exit maths check setting. It excludes today's temporary changes, active manual sleep sessions and device time preferences.
The backup is a readable settings file and is not encrypted by Kids Clock. The app gives the app you select access to that file. Your chosen app and recipient may send, store or process it under their own practices. Only share it with people and services you trust. Sharing makes a copy; later changes do not sync automatically.
Import backup reads a file you select or open with Kids Clock. A grown-up must pass the maths check, review the preview and choose Replace settings before it changes the saved routine.
Storage and deletion
Your saved routine remains on the device until you change it, clear Kids Clock's app storage through Android settings or uninstall the app. Temporary changes stop affecting the clock after their selected day; older dated records may remain in local storage until the app removes them or you clear its storage.
Kids Clock stores generated backup files in its app cache. Android may remove these cached files; you can remove them by clearing the app's cache or storage, or uninstalling it. Copies you sent or saved with another app are separate and must be deleted there or by the recipient. Clearing Kids Clock's storage or uninstalling it cannot delete those copies.
The app uses Android's app storage protections and grants the selected sharing app access to the backup file. It does not provide encrypted storage or a private login. The maths check is a household barrier to accidental changes, rather than identity verification.
Children and grown-up controls
Children can view the clock, routine and learning tips. Grown-ups configure routines, sleep settings and backup sharing through the maths check. The app does not ask children for a name, email address, date of birth or online profile. Avoid putting private information in activity names, especially in backups you plan to share.
Support and privacy questions
Contact apps@technicalhandyman.cc with questions about Kids Clock or this policy. If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. This correspondence is handled through email services rather than sent automatically by the app. We use it to respond to your enquiry and keep it while needed for that enquiry and related follow-up. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence at the same address. Please avoid sending private information about children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if Kids Clock's information handling changes and show the updated date above.
